LOMA  Fundraiser Rules

 

 

ELIGIBILITY

You must be 18 years or older and have a valid social security number to enter. The winning ticket must have a legible name and phone number. A ticket without a legible name and phone number will be disqualified. You need not be present to win. LOMA board members and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

 

 

DRAWING

Prize winners and alternates will be selected at a random drawing on March 8, 2024 at the Edmond Public Schools Conference Center . In the event that the drawing cannot be held in March, a new drawing date and location will be selected by LOMA’s board and posted at www.loma.rocks.  A prize winner will be notified by phone using a legible, working phone number from the winning ticket. In the event a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 7 calendar days, fails to otherwise qualify for the prize and / or declines the prize, the alternate prize  winner will be contacted. In the event an alternate winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 7 calendar days, fails to other wise qualify for the prize and / or declines the prize, at LOMA’s boards direction,  there will be a second and third alternate winner drawn at a time and location determined by LOMA’s board. The preceding procedure will be followed until the prize is claimed. Student or program selling the claimed 1st prize will receive $500. Student or program selling the claimed 2nd prize will receive $300 and student or program selling the claimed 3rd prize will receive $200. 

 

 

TAX OBLIGATIONS

The grand prize winner is responsible for all taxes and must show proof of their social security number and sign IRS form W-2G. Tax laws require LOMA to collect 24% federal withholding tax before a prize can be claimed.

GENERAL

Tickets purchased are non-refundable and are not tax deductible. LOMA’s “Win $25,000 Cash” fundraiser is subject to the laws of the state of Oklahoma. The decision of LOMA’s board shall be final in all matters concerning the fundraiser.
